The clinic focuses on achieving noticeable yet natural-looking results. Our patients love how JW Aesthetics’ dermal fillers help them achieve a fresh and rejuvenated look.
Botox vs. Dermal Fillers
Many think dermal fillers and Botox serve the same purpose, and this is true to some extent. Both treatments work to refresh and rejuvenate ageing skin. However, Botox contains purified bacteria that freeze the muscles in the area, which helps minimise the appearance of wrinkles and lines.
We provide dermal filler treatments in Chester, which contain ingredients such as hyaluronic acid to add fullness to areas in the face that have thinned because of ageing. JW Aesthetics usually administers dermal fillers in the cheeks, around the mouth, and the lips, as these are the areas that thin most with age.

Why is Ageing More Obvious in the Facial Area?
Facial ageing is due to changes in several types of tissue including skin, fat, muscle and bone. Bone is being reabsorbed causing the skull to become smaller creating a change to the shape of the face. Fat pads shrink and descend due to the changes in structural support, hyperactive muscles and skin elasticity. In combination these changes cause sagging.
We observe these effects all over the face but most commonly in the brow, eyes, nose to mouth lines, shrinking lips and sagging jowls.
Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are a safe, effective, predictable treatment reducing the signs of aging, and helping to beautify by projecting, lifting, hydrating and volumising. Premium dermal fillers such as Juvederm are injected in small controlled doses under the surface of skin.
The only fillers used at JW Aesthetics are Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers. The quality of production is second to none and the effects of this naturally-occurring substance can be reversed. The product creates safe, predictable, effective results. Jane Wilson has undertaken advanced dermal filler training, with globally renowned doctors such as Mr. Mauricio De Maio, Dr Arthur Swift and Dr Raj Aquilla.
